Frequently Asked Pages

Digital Printing
What are the advantages of using digital printing?
Digital printing offers high quality toners and ink to produce sharper images and exceptional color accuracy. Your project’s file can be reprinted at a later date with the same consistent printing quality. Digital printing does not use printing plates which affords quick turnaround processing times when compared to conventional off-set printing. In addition, digital printing requires less equipment and uses fewer materials which is better for the environment.

Are there any printing setup or proof charges?
We do not charge for any printing setup charges and digital pdf proofs are always free.

(If you find a lower price within 30 days (after your order is placed) for the same order placed with us, we’ll refund the difference in the price of the order. Competing price must be from another label printer located in the United States or Canada and must match the (material, lamination, versions, total labels and other options) compared to the order placed with us. Ordering
What is the minimum quantity of labels I need to order?
The minimum quantity for label orders is 100 labels.

What is the difference between BOPP and Paper material that you print on?
BOPP is an industry standard label material that is durable, water-resistant and resists tearing. Paper is a label material that is available in different finishes and holds ink very well. This material is ideal if you want your labels to have a vintage or handcrafted label appearance.

What is the maximum size for my label design?
The maximum label height is XX inches and maximum label width can be up to X feet long. If your label has a unique size, contact us to confirm that we can print your label’s size.

Can you print my complicated label shape?
Our laser trim equipment can diecut nearly any label shape. Your order’s PDF proof will show the dieline so you can see how your labels will actually trim.

What types of lamination do you offer?
You can select none, gloss or matte laminate for your labels. You may choose not to laminate your labels in order to write on the labels or for aesthetic reasons. Gloss finish laminate provides a shiny, glass-like appearance that enhances the vibrancy and color of the label. Matte finish laminate provides an elegant finish that softens the contrast of darker colors.

What is the difference between ‘label versions’ and ‘total labels’?
‘Label versions’ refers to the number of variations of a label design. Customers can save on pricing with multiple label versions (designs) of the same label size, material and options. ‘Total labels’ refers to the total quantity of labels for the order.

What is the difference between ‘hand-applied’ and ‘machine-applied’?
Hand applied labels are applied without the use of a machine. With smaller orders, labels are manually peeled off the label roll and applied to the product by hand. Machine applied labels are applied with the automated use of an applicator machine. A specific unwind direction is usually required per the applicator machine’s specifications.

What is ‘unwind roll direction’?
The unwind direction or roll direction is the orientation of the label on the label roll. If your labels will be machine-applied, refer to your applicator machine’s specifications to determine which unwind roll direction to select for your order. The unwind or roll direction options are: top off, bottom off, right off or left off.

Will my labels come on a roll or on sheets?
Your labels will be delivered on a roll unless we determine sheets are appropriate for your order needs.
